Scheduling a Configuration
Once you have created a configuration, you can schedule it to run regularly or at some time in the future. Here are the steps to do so:
Navigate to the
Schedules
menu in the clientClick
Create
in the upper right hand cornerChoose the name of this schedule
Pick something descriptive, as this is what will be displayed in the client for all configuration snapshots using this schedule
Select which configuration you would like to schedule a backup for
If you would like to schedule a future one-time backup, select
Scheduled Backup
in type, and either manually input a date or use the calendar widget to select the date for that backupIf you would like to schedule a recurring backup, select
Recurring Backup
in type, and select the unit of recurrence and frequency of recurrence in the below boxes
Click
Create
Note: each configuration will only create at most one task at a time, so multiple schedules will not override each other/create conflicting tasks
Running a one-time configuration snapshot:
NOTE: Snapshots on the primary can only be run if the system is not in failover mode. Otherwise, snapshots will be run on the failover system.
Navigate to the snapshots menu
Click the snapshot button in the upper left hand corner
Select the configuration you would like to back up
Click create
Running a restore:
NOTE: Restores on the primary can only be run if the system is in failover mode. Otherwise, restores will be run on the failover system.
Navigate to the restores menu
Click the restore button in the upper right hand corner
Select the configuration you would like to restore and the snapshot you would like to restore
Click restore
