# Deployment Information

Axilon’s platform has been built to deploy to any type of local computing environment, and requires minimal hardware to set up. The platform can be deployed in a distributed, centralized, or hybrid fashion.

While Axilon does require hardware compatible with AMD Secure Encrypted Virtualization (for more, see [Cybersecurity](https://docs.axilon.com/devops-desktop/resilience/cyber-resilience)), Axilon supports any hardware within the right off-the-shelf CPU family as long as it otherwise matches the system’s constraints (see Bill of Materials).

This section details the [Deployment "Modes"](https://docs.axilon.com/devops-desktop/resilience/deployment/deployment-modes) (i.e. centralized, decentralized, or hybrid) for the platform hardware and networking, and it also provides a detailed [Bill of Materials](https://docs.axilon.com/devops-desktop/resilience/deployment/hardware-bill-of-materials-bom) for the Axilon hardware.
