How to manually run one-time configuration snapshots and restores

In addition to scheduled backups, you can manually run one-time snapshots and restores as needed.

Running a One-Time Configuration Snapshot

  1. NOTE: Snapshots on the primary can only be run if the system is not in failover mode. Otherwise, snapshots will be run on the failover system.

  2. Navigate to the Snapshots page

  3. Click the Create button in the upper right corner

  4. Select the machine you would like to snapshot

  5. Select the configuration you would like to back up

  6. Click Create

Running a Restore

  1. NOTE: Restores on the primary can only be run if the system is in failover mode. Otherwise, restores will be run on the failover system.

  2. Navigate to the Restores page

  3. Click the Restore button in the upper right corner

  4. Select the machine you would like to restore to

  5. Select the configuration you would like to restore and the snapshot you would like to restore

  6. Click Restore
